Becoming a hosting family of a CECYDAR child :
Unfortunately, some children cannot return to their own families or even their home environment for many reasons : domestic conflicts, sexual abuse, the disappearance of family members after abandonment, death of parents and refusal by the extended family to welcome the child, extreme poverty ...
The child is nevertheless full of good will to go to school, train and find a balance of life.
We are regularly looking for couples ready to welcome a child. They must be able to consider him as their own child. We expect from this family to
- Protect the child from any form of violence
- Take care of his/her needs : affection, meals, clothes, comfortable roof, schooling, access to higher education ... Everything a parent would do for his own child.
- Respect the child’s faith by giving him the opportunity to practice it (Christian or Muslim faith)
- Allow the child to visit his family if he/she needs it (parents are still alive, but unable to care for the child)
